"algae prevention". Conventional algicides will deter algae from forming in a swimming pool; consequently they can be regarded as an insurance against pools turning green. ALGAE ELIMINATOR is different. It should be used to eliminate existing algae rather than prevent further outbreaks of algae. It has been formulated not for "prevention" but for "cure".
